Here’s my weekly list of stories I didn’t get to spin yarns about:
- “Rabbi” Abraham Abraham, best known for being that ripped old guy who made Coney Island and the just-above-freezing waters of the Atlantic his home, died on May 18 of bone cancer. End of an era.
- Cyclists in Williamsburg are fighting back with helmet cams. Hasidic school bus drivers are on alert while they themselves break all sorts of traffic laws.
- ‘Cause it’s great: “I am a heimisha hasidic yingerman, well mannered and educated, with a job. Who knows how to show you a good time!!”
- The Queens mother who accidentally(?) lit her daughter on fire during a botched “voodoo ritual” is going to jail for a whole bunch of years.
Have a blissful paradigm shift, and remember to “judge not, lest ye be judged” (M. 7:1).
