::: write w/ us :::

Are you:

  • Currently living in NYC?
  • Interested in esoteric spiritual stuff?
  • A follower (or someone who can quickly become a follower) of online NYC-related spiritual/religious news/events/etc.?
  • Able to go out and report on events, happenings, ceremonies, rituals, and book burnings once in a while?
  • Able to write personally about your experiences at events, happenings, ceremonies, rituals, and book burnings once in a while?

NOT NEW YORK is looking for NYC-based writers to join our team of spiritual sleuths and explorers.

What we want from you:
We’re looking for people who can venture out into the NYC spiritual abyss (both online and/or on foot) and report back in personable prose. We’re looking for people who can meet deadlines (if any are required), people who are passionate about their subject and don’t get all touchy when their piece needs editing. We operate under the premise that behind every good writer is a great editor.

What you can expect from us:
We want you to look good. We want people to love your writing. We’ll do our best to get your pieces into the world through whatever means are available to us. We cannot pay, but we can help get your name out there, and to boot you’ll be writing for the coolest bunch of coolies around!

Send us an email at notnyc [at] gmail [dot] com for more info. We’ve got stuff for you to do!
