SOUL FOOD, WANDERING, & RA UN NEFER

I'm the kernal up in the corner.

Always an uplifting experience, today I went for a walk down Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn.

My main purpose was to walk with a slight abandon while hoping to stumble upon either the Ausar Auset Society founded by my secret intellectual-man-crush, Ra Un Nefer, author of the very awesome Metu Neter Vol. 2: Anuk Ausar, The Kamitic Initiation System, or find some other more tucked away center of righteousness. Truth is, I kind of know where the society is (plus the HQ is, like, literally around the block from me), didn’t really bother looking too hard, and instead ate 1.5 pounds of soul food, having just barely enough will power to opt out of the .5 pounds of corn bread present, remembering that corn bread has got that beacon of Babylon in it—sugar—which I’m trying very hard to lay off.

I did, however, break off and eat three pieces.

In rebellion, I leave you with this Nyabinghi chant…

What's up?
