The Pope is coming! The pope is Coming!

That’s right, ladies. Hold onto your panties. The pope everyone loves to love is coming to Gotham City this September. According to NBC:

“The pontiff told reporters he wishes he could enter the U.S. through the Mexican border “as a sign of brotherhood and of help to the immigrants,” but will probably just fly directly to the East Coast. ‘You know that [to] go to Mexico without going to visit the Madonna [of Guadalupe] would be a drama. A war could break out,’ he said, laughing. ‘I think there will only be those three cities. Later there will be time to go to Mexico’.”

Oh, the Pope. Always saying wild things. Like….

“All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them.” (He didn’t).

Like….

“It is not necessary to believe in God to be a good person.” (He didn’t).

Like….

“The Roman Catholic Church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer.” (He didn’t).

What he *did* say, however, was that grilled cheese sandwiches were ridic awesome, and that were he able to pull some strings and make it out to the NYC this weekend, you best b’leedat he’d be all up in The Big Cheesy, a grilled cheese competish happening this weekend over at the fancy schmancy Openhouse Gallery.

Which basically means you’re gonna get to do this…..
